If you are looking for a place where you can relax and forget your job in a while, why not visit Pandin Lake ?
Pandin Lake is part of the Seven Lakes and the most famous lake located at Brgy. San Lorenzo in San Pablo, Laguna. The lake has depth of 180 feet. It is roughly 3 hours away from Manila and a perfect weekend getaway if you wanted to escape in city hustle and bustle.
How to get there ?
Ride any bus bound in Lucena (Cubao/Buendia Terminals). Ask the driver to drop you off to SM San Pablo. From there, ride a jeep to simbahan or city proper. Then, ride a jeep to Ilog. Don’t forget to tell the driver to drop you off in front of Pandin Lake.
Trekking
In the entrance, there are local guide or kids lived there that can assist you. We pay them 50Php during our visit. It took us about 10 minutes to reach the lake.
Bamboo Raft Rates
Bamboo raft can accomodate 8 people. We chose to rent our own raft and it costs 1200Php (600php/pax), foods are included. They served fresh grilled tilapia, liempo, shrimp (okoy), rice, pako salad, bottled water and we bought fresh buko (additional 25Php). Dishes are truly exceptional!
