How do you feel about this story?

If you are looking for a place where you can relax and forget your job in a while, why not visit Pandin Lake ?

Pandin Lake is part of the Seven Lakes and the most famous lake located at Brgy. San Lorenzo in San Pablo, Laguna. The lake has depth of 180 feet. It is roughly 3 hours away from Manila and a perfect weekend getaway if you wanted to escape in city hustle and bustle.

How to get there ?
Ride any bus bound in Lucena (Cubao/Buendia Terminals). Ask the driver to drop you off to SM San Pablo. From there, ride a jeep to simbahan or city proper. Then, ride a jeep to Ilog. Don’t forget to tell the driver to drop you off in front of Pandin Lake.
In the entrance, there are local guide or kids lived there that can assist you. We pay them 50Php during our visit. It took us about 10 minutes to reach the lake.
Bamboo Raft Rates
Bamboo raft can accomodate 8 people. We chose to rent our own raft and it costs 1200Php (600php/pax), foods are included. They served fresh grilled tilapia, liempo, shrimp (okoy), rice, pako salad, bottled water and we bought fresh buko (additional 25Php). Dishes are truly exceptional!

For budgetarian, you can pay around 400Php (with foods) for every balsa ride for every group minimum of 4pax.
Appreciate the Beauty of Nature
I actually hate crowded and commercialized places. I rarely go to lake because I’m not good swimmer and it doesn’t buy me. Until my bestfriend asked me if I can go with him in Laguna and the rest are history.

When we ride in bamboo raft, I feel the calmness of the water, hear the sounds of birds and see how the fish swims. Literally, what I need right now. Such a hidden gem!

Since phone signals are not present in area, you will definitely enjoy the swing here. You can also swim but local guide will require you to wear life vest for your safety. The water here is clean and cold. Lake is enchanting effortlessly beautiful and inviting.

We wasn’t able to go in Yambo Lake (on the other side) because we want to maximize our time. By the way, tour is limited for 2hours only. Walk-ins are welcome. Don’t worry, people are very welcoming and sincere.

Best time to go is during weekdays. You mainly have the place all to yourself.
