Two weeks ago, I was invited for foodie meet up in Trinoma along with other zomato buddies. To give you some detail about the restaurant, Tori Chizu is known in specializing Japanese doria or baked rice. Tori Chizu is came from the Japanese words – tori means “chicken” and chizu means “cheese”. The place offers a variety of a delicious Japanese fusion.

Here’s the food they presented: Chx Katsu Baked Rice, Chx Katsu Baked Rice, Beef Yakiniku Baked Rice, Chx Katsu Curry Chizu Bowl, Beef Chizu Bowl, 6pcs Umami & Spicy Fried Chicken, Spicy Karaage Ramen.

All served in hot plates and bowls. The mouth-watering Beef Yakiniku Baked Rice is one of my choice. The beef is soft and nicely cut. The serving was generous and full of creamy Bechamel sauce. It’s not salty or sweet.

I can normally handle my spice but believe me, their Fried Chicken are very spicy. You will feel the little burning sensation on your mouth and lips while eating. The chicken are juicy and tender; the crust is totally crispy. Just a reminder, make sure to have a glasses of water beside you.

By the way, original flavor of Fried Chicken is also available just in case you are not into spicy food. Spicy Kaarage Ramen was also added on their menu recently.

For desserts, indulge yourself with their Milkchiz Cone. I really like the milky soft texture of their ice cream. It’s not too sweet that is why it’s perfect in all ages.

Verdict: I tried to taste other food and I feel the “umay” factor. Their Japanese Baked Rice are good however it’s quite dry. I thought foods are expensive in the first place but hey it’s very affordable ! The service is good and staff are very polite and accommodating.

Location: Trinoma, Quezon City
